The Inland Empire Action Coalition, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, exists to bring about positive change in the community.
We are a catalyst for government, non-profit, and community cooperation. We focus the energies
of community volunteers, government agencies, other non-profits, and others on projects that will
result in a real world impact!
The Coalition does not support projects that result in unnecessary planning or studies, projects that duplicate effort or are for political purposes, or projects that don’t result in a real-world community benefit. Our great strength is our ability to get people of diverse backgrounds and interests working together toward a common goal that will help the community or solve a community problem. |
While IEAC promotes a broad range of community improvement activities, our primary focus has been
habitat
restoration and voluntary permanent conservation easements on critical habitat areas. We take our roles in protecting habitat and protecting private landowner's rights very seriously.
Creating a baseline inventory to
document the pre-easement conditions
Creating permanent photopoints that are
monitored yearly
Developing a stewardship plan that exceeds Land
Trust Alliance standards
Establishing a permanent stewardship endowment for monitoring,
maintenance, and enforcement
Ensuring that the easement is recorded on the deed
Installing permanent boundary markers
